A workshop exploration on human self-deception and power based on George Orwell’s Animal Farm.
In May/June of 2018, the Nostos Ensemble (@nostosensemble) traveled to Stara Zagora, Bulgaria for the first stage of the International Creative Lab: Orwell Studio, funded through the Bulgarian-American Exchange Program, administered by the Art Office Foundation, and supported by Pace School of Performing Arts. In September of 2018, the next stage of the laboratory culminated with the New York premiere of Animal Farm.
